Traditionally described as the result of a crossbreeding between white Riesling and green Sylvaner vines, advances in genetic techniques now allow us to affirm that it is actually a crossbreeding between Riesling and Chasselas. 
 
The wine from this vine is full-bodied, aromatic, rich in bouquet, with a musky taste.
